The farm is located on two sites near to the Milton and Canton town line:

In the Blue Hills Reservation:

VISITING THE FARM

Visitors are welcome to stop by the farm and walk around the trails surrounding the fields. While we can’t guarantee that we will be there when you stop by, feel free to contact us ahead of time to schedule a visit. Please note that all of our CSA pick-up’s are at the Blue Hills Reservation location.

GETTING TO OUR LOCATIONS

Brookwood Community Farm in the Blue Hills Reservation

From the South and North:
Take route 93 to exit 2B, Rt 138, Milton. Take a right at the 1st light onto Blue Hill River Rd. Go 1/4 of a mile and Brookwood Farm will be on your right, just before an old red house. Turn into the driveway and park in the lot on the right. Walk down the paved driveway and to the red farm shed to find our farm stand.

From Boston:
Take route 28 South (Blue Hill Ave.) through Mattapan Square. Continue on Rt. 28 South (Blue Hill Parkway) for approximately 3.5 miles. Pass Houghton’s Pond on your left. Go straight at the stop sign and continue for approximately 1/3 mile. The entrance to the farm will be on your left just after an old red house. Turn into the driveway and park in the lot on the right. Walk down the paved driveway and to the red farm shed to find our farm stand.

There are limited public transportation choices to the DCR Blue Hills site, Brookwood Farm. Brookwood was part of a coalition studying improved access. See some recent results in the Blue Hills study Storymap.

Brookwood Community Farm at the Bradley Estate:

From the South and North:
Take route 93 to exit 2A, Rt 138, Canton, merge off the ramp, the entrance to the Bradley Estate will quickly be on your right.

From Boston:
Take route 28 South (Blue Hill Ave.) through Mattapan Square. Continue on Rt. 28 South (Blue Hill Parkway) for approximately 3.5 miles. Pass Houghton’s Pond on your left. At the first light, take a left onto Rt 138. The entrance to the Bradley Estate will be on your right just after you cross over the highway. View Larger Map
