The Goods and Services Auction features a wide range of items, from Celtics tickets to a weekend getaway in Vermont, to a private yoga class. All proceeds from the auction will support Brookwood Community Farm’s mission to restore underutilized farmland to strengthen Boston’s local food system and address urgent issues related to food access in low-income neighborhoods.

How the Auction Works

This auction works just like other online auction sites such as eBay. Although we suggest that you bid the maximum amount that you’re willing to pay for an item, you could pay less. As the listing proceeds, we compare your bid to those of other bidders. When you’re outbid, we automatically bid on your behalf up to your maximum bid. We increase your bid by $1 increments only as much as necessary to maintain your position as highest bidder.
